BGR Energy signs deal with Hitachi

Chennai-based BGR Energy Systems has inked a deal with power plant equipment manufacturer Hitachi for super-critical technology for boilers, and turbines and generators.
BGR has entered into technical collaboration agreements for boilers and turbine and generator from 660 MW to 1000 MW through two majority owned subsidiaries.
Apart from this, another subsidiary BGR Boiler Pvt Ltd has also signed a technical collaboration agreement with Hitachi Power Europe GmbH, Germany, for super-critical boilers from 660 MW to 1,100 MW.
