Tata BP Solar plans expansion:
"Tata BP Solar, a JV between Tata Power and BP Solar, proposes to increase its photovoltaic (PV) cell manufacturing capacity from the present 84 to 180 MW in the current fiscal.
As per sources, a one MW project being set up in Delhi for North Delhi Power and 3 MW solar photovoltaic power plant in Maharashtra are expected to commence operation in 2010.
The company on 28 April 2010 commissioned a new production line of 32 MW of PV cells at its plant in Bangalore."
