NTPC, CIL form JV to set up two power plants in Jharkhand

NTPC and Coal India have inked a deal for setting up two 2,000 MW coal-based power projects in Jharkhand. These two projects to be developed under a 50:50 joint venture.
As per a CIL official, "We have signed an agreement with NTPC to form a joint venture for setting up two power projects at Jharkhand.”
