200 MW wind power projects every year: CLP

CLP Power India Pvt Ltd, which has already operationalised five winds farms in India aims to develop wind power projects of 200 MW every year. In addition to this, the company also plans to set up its first ever solar power project in India.
CLP currently has a wind power capacity of 446 MW and wind power projects with a cumulative capacity of about 263 MW are being executed in Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Mahashtra. The company further plans to set up another wind power project of about 50 MW in Rajasthan.
Apart from these green projects, the company is developing a supercritical coal-fired power plant at Jhajjar in Haryana. The company would require a capex of about Rs 5,000 crore for their power projects in the country.
