Ramkrishna Forgings (RFL) is planning to set up a castings unit for automobile components at Bidadi in Karnataka with an investment of Rs 200 crore.
Currently, RFL is scouting for land for the proposed unit. It is also awaiting necessary clearances.
The company presently has access to Rs 60 crore of short-term debt and Rs 69 crore of non-fund-based bank facilities.
RFL operates its plants in Jamshedpur (Jharkahand) and near Kolkata which manufacture and supply open and closed plain carbon and low alloy steel forgings in the forged, heat treated and machined condition for the Indian Railways, automobile and general engineering segments.
