The company’s first project will be a wind power plant at Karad with an investment of Rs 1,800 crore. For this project the construction of the windmills will begin towards the end of the month and will be completed within nine months. About 300 MW is expected to be generated through this project, the power generated will be given to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company.
Apart from this, they will also set up a thermal power plant at Anjarle in Ratnagiri district with an estimated investment of Rs 6,000 crore for the generation of 1,500 MW. This plant will be developed over 2,500 acre and would be completed within three years, depending on government clearances.
