Currently the preliminary work is being carried out at the two proposed parks in Kovvada in Srikakulam district and Nizamapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The Kovvada park will have six reactors of 1,400 MW capacity each, which would be set up in phases. Two reactors of 700 MW capacity each are to be set at Pulivendula in Kadapa district.
