UP may lose out on the 4000 MW UMPP to MP

Uttar Pradesh has chances of losing out on NTPC s proposed 4000 MW UMPP to Madhya Pradesh due to impediments in the form of land acquisition and water sourcing.
NTPC at the moment is considering setting up the project in MP considering the reluctance of UP govt. over land and water availability.
