Conergy installs 3 MW photovoltaic plant

Conergy AG has erected a photovoltaic plant in India with a capacity of 3 MW. Through this plant, Conergy will contribute to the power supply of the local rural population around Itnal situated in Karnataka.
This plant is built over 17.3 acre with 13,000 solar modules supplying more than 4,000 MW hours of clean energy into the local grid.
Earlier power supply in Itnal was very limited where only 120 households on site had access to electricity. With this power plant, more than 80 per cent of the residents in and around Itnal have access to reliable and affordable energy.
