Jai Prakash Power and Kinfra to set up project

Jai Prakash Power Ventures Ltd (JPVL) has signed a lease agreement with the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Kinfra) for setting up a Rs 1,500-crore project in Kerala.
The project will include a 240-MW coal-based thermal power plant, a 1.5 million tonne per annum cement grinding unit and a jetty in 164.22 acre at Kinfra's industrial park at Kalliassery and Pappinissery villages in Kannur district. The project will be commissioned within 44 months.
