Isgec To Set Up 4,000 Mw Boiler Facility
Isgec John Thompson (IJT), a division of Saraswati Industrial Syndicate Ltd and, Foster Wheeler North America Corporation, US, plan to set up a manufacturing facility for sub-critical and supercritical boilers in Tamil Nadu. The greenfield project is likely to see an investment of around Rs 800 crore. For the same, the company has sought 150 acre in the Tiruchy- Madurai belt.
The proposed plant will have an initial annual capacity of 4,000 MW and can be increased to 8,000 MW.
